What Causes Difficulty Breathing Through Nose At Night In Children?

Hello doctr my question is my one year old son cannot breath through his nose when he sleeps.. It s like his nose is blocked but it s not, I have used vicks steam all kind of remedies I could.. He was born with larangomalasia -flappy airways- which he has grown out of, he was 7 months old when this problem started I have raised his bed n.everything but nothing seams to work n whn I take him to an ent he says he looks like, told him that when he s awake he s fine but when he sleeps he s not.. But that stupid doctor jus don t believe me.. His nose does makes a whistle sound but inside his nose is absolutely clean he was also given steroid drops dint work.. Salin drops doesn t work.. Please I really need your suggestion.. Thank you

Hello ,
Actually patients with laringomalacia, do have sleep in prone position that is head facing the bed, and these children do improve with age advancing and one more thing of caution childer do have problem of adenoids which cause breathing difficulty, so plz have adenoids which are similar to tonsils located in back of nose checked.
