General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Major surgery at this age is always has got risks. However, there won’t be any risk of memory loss as such.

The anesthetist can plan the node of anesthesia as per her cardiac status.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
