What Causes Difficulty In Breathing After Undergoing Septoplasty?

I had septoplasty surgery with turbinate reduction three weeks ago. The right side of my nose is in working order. The left side feels stuffy, like the sinus is blocked. I have gone to the doctor to remove 'debris' twice, and I am using Neilmed irrigation twice a day, as well as saline spray.

I'd like to know if it is normal to still be experiencing difficulty breathing. If not, then what questions should I ask my doctor when I see him for the third 'debris' removal.
