What Causes Difficulty In Breathing After Vomiting?
My daughter threw up and seemed fine after for a few minutes, then said it felt like something was caught and pointed to her diaphragm and said she was having a hard time breathing. I was going to take her to the ER, but the symptoms started to improve.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have difficulty in breathing after vomiting . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query anxiety disorder , panic attack , peptic ulcer , heart rhythm disorder , drug overdose , allergic reaction or anemia .I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper diagnosis . Doctor will take history . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic drug along with antiemetic . Doctor may refer you to cardiologist in case of cardiac disorder or psychologist in case of stress and anxiety . For now tale over the counter anti histamine like benadryl and drink warm water with honey . Doctor may also refer you to psychiatrist for psychological problem .
