What Causes Difficulty In Breathing Along With Severe Cough?

I need some help. I am experiencing random breathing difficulty along with a strong cough. It is very sudden. It feels like I m inhaling something because I get a funny taste at the tip of my tongue after it happens. I was trying to research what type of drug would give me these effects.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

I doubt this is a side effecr of a drug, and if it were you should have mentioned the medications you were on so I could go through their side effects.

It sounds to me more like either an underlying respiratory condition (e.g. infections, chronic bronchitis, TB, etc.) or an allergic reaction. Please visit a physician for an elabirate blood profile and chest x ray for further management.

Best wishes.
