What Causes Difficulty In Breathing And Elevated Heart Beats?

I went to the doctors yesterday I couldn t hardly breath and my heart was beating 133 beats a minute. On and off it feels like my heart will stop beating for a second and then start beating again. It hurts a lot I asked my doctor about it and he said it was from my bronchitis, is that true? He seemed quite unsure when he told me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for asking your question at healthcare magic.
If someone comes to my clinic with these complaints I will first take an ECG to look for cardiac rhythm abnormality.
Also I would like to know more about your medical history, age, any medications taken, other symptoms etc.
You may also require TSH level checked
If ECG is normal, I recommend 24 hour cardiac monitoring
I suggest you follow up with your doctor

Hope i was of help
regards
Dr.lekshmi
