What Causes Difficulty In Breathing And Irregular Heart Rate?

Hi, I am having some difficulty taking a full breath. Last night I was experiencing an irregular heart beat and my pulse rate dropped to 43. Oxygen levels were fine, but still having difficulty breathing and is now causing pain in the chest (i think the intercostal muscles just working too hard). I have had these symptoms in the past several times, but none that have lasted this long. What do you suggest I do? Thank you, Kylie

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of irregular heart beat and difficulty in breathing following a drop in your pulse rate with associated chest pains I am suggesting that you are gradually developing a congestive heart failure
In view of this please do the following test
ECG
CHEST X-RAY
EKG
Meanwhile please see a cardiologist for expert clinical assessment Councelling and adequate drug prescription
I hope this helps
