What Causes Difficulty In Breathing While Suffering From Sinuses?
Hi, for the past week i have been finding myself needed to gasped for hair, i don t smoke i don t do daily activities, except when i m running around chasing after kids when i m playing with them but thats not often. I do suffer from seasonal allergies and i find that i have sinus prob. I believe its the cause of my sinuses, can something be done about this, all i want to do is being able to breath properly l.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Allergy is a common cause of sinusitis. The allergic sinusitis is managed with anti-allergic drugs and other treatment as and when required. However, difficulty in breathing and shortness of breath is not associated with sinusitis probably. Difficulty in breathing is usually due to some abnormality in airways. Asthma is a possibility because asthma is associated with allergy. Thus, I suggest you to consult a pulmonologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
