Hello,
You are experiencing difficulty in breathing,
shortness of breath, difficulty in yawning or difficulty in taking deep breath may be due dyspnea related to the heart and lungs. Dyspnea not related to heart and lungs may be due to anemia, obesity, heavy exercise, high altitude, etc.
You are suggested to maintain healthy weight, avoid exhaustive exercises, stay away from addictions if any. Take home made balanced food rich in iron and protein. Do regular walking & avoid taking packaged and processed food.
Medical conditions that can cause dyspnea are
acute respiratory distress syndrome,
pleural effusion,
bronchiectasis, low blood pressure, valvular disease,
heart attack, etc. You should get clinically examined by a GP, get blood tests, chest X-ray, spirometry, EKG, etc., to detect the pathology causing you symptoms. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected and the seriousness of the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
