What Causes Difficulty In Ejaculating?

My husband is a young 59 years old. He hasn t been able to ejaculate for about a month and a half. Could this be medical or due to medications? He is having a very difficult time. He is on an antidepressant but he has been on this for a year. Email address: YYYY@YYYY Thank you.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
At the age of 59 years, difficulty in ejeculation is mostly due to prostatic enlargement.
So better to consult urologist and get done ultrasound examination of prostate.
If prostate is enlarged then it is the reason.
If prostate is normal then anti depressant drugs are the cause.
Anti depressant drugs do have side effects on ejeculation.
So consult his psychiatrist and discuss this.. He may need newer anti depressant drugs.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
