What Causes Difficulty In Finding Words And Slurred Speech?

I am finding my self, increasing having difficulty finding words I want to say, or when I do slurring, butchering them when I speak. Is this an age related problem? I am 52. I have had a few concussions, so I am afraid I might be experiencing something from them.?

Hi,

This is not related to your age at least. Certain. Changes may occur with aging but at 52 years no such things should happen. Speech is a complex process involving brain and many other parts.

The problems may be related to the concussions or other brain disorders, so it's very necessary to be fully assessed by a neurologist for proper diagnosis and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
