When you start trying for a baby, things that you previously wouldn't have worried about may become magnified; instead of being spontaneous, the timing and even the type of sex can be planned and specifically chosen to increase your chances of conceiving.
One thing many people worry about is whether or not sperm dripping out after sex will affect their chances of getting pregnant. Although it may be better to take certain steps to prevent that event, it is still quite possible to get pregnant if some sperm leaks out.
It's recommended that you lay down with your hips elevated by a pillow for around half an hour following sexual intercourse, to prevent sperm from leaking out and to promote the passage of sperm through the reproductive tract. Ensuring that as many sperm as possible make their way through the reproductive tract boosts your chances of pregnancy.
