General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Folic acid and orofer are both required to avoid neural tube defects in your child, and there are no side effects. In my opinion, there is most probably some underlying condition that is preventing successful conception. There is a lot of advise that can be passed on, but without investigations you cannot confirm anything. So please do strongly consider visiting a fertility expert for guidance.

Best wishes.
