Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has had a fever for about 5 days with a rash. He went to the doctor and they ran a blood test. The readings determined his white cell count was good. He went outside today and said he has trouble keeping his eyes opened even though he was in a shaded area? Could this be more than a virus if his white cell count was ok?
Sometimes, viral infections can lead to blurred vision or conjunctivitis in kids. It's good if once ophthalmoscopy examination is done by an eye doctor! Strengthen his immunity by fruits, juices, vegetables and milk and its products with amla, aloe vera and anti-oxidants, multi-vitamin syrups for a few days. Lots of liquids will help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
