Hello,

As you underwent bariatric surgery, it will take little time to have cut down of weight. The medicines if prescribed by the operating surgeon than shouldn't worry.

But if they do not then have a word with the operating surgeon. Also, you need to start getting involved in the physical activity which is more focused towards the breathing exercises and the aerobic exercise.

Now here, breathing exercises are advised because respiratory system consumes the maximum amount of human body energy and aerobic exercise is like jumping jacks which helps to improve the overall body metabolism and also burn fat due to raising the temperature of the body internally.

In my clinical practice of over 12 years, seen cases with even 130-140 kgs underwent Bariatric surgery and now weighing 70 kgs over a period of 3-4 months of time.

As post-bariatric surgery, it is a slow process but a good one to have lost weight.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
