Hi I am 33 year old female and I am trying to reduce my weight which is 75 right now. I have been trying to reduce it by drinking lemon water in the morning but unfortunately the process has backfired on me. before starting the morning ritual of drinking lemon water i was 72 kgs but in a week of starting the ritual I have gained 3 kgs. can you tell what excatly went wrong. I am on my normal diet.
Lemon water by itself, with no other changes in the diet, is not going to cause weight loss.
You can continue the lemon water but you would have to make other changes as well. There are different diet plans that you can use, the main ones being low fat/low calorie diet or low carbohydrate diet.
You should use the one that best suits you. Meal plans for either of these diets would be available online.
In addition to diet, you would need to have at least 150 mins of physical activity a week. This is usually divided into 30 mins, 5 times a week.
If this time is difficult for you, you can use a time frame that would best suit you.
