What Causes Difficulty In Opening Eye In The Morning?

Hi! I just turned 51 and for about a year now when I wake up in the morning it takes me several seconds to open just my right eye. I do have dry eyes but why is it only my right eye and only when I wake up? I use systane gel drops in the morning and at bedtime.

HI
Well come to HCM
This could be due to some allergic condition of eye and this can be managed with some antiallergic eye drop and best option would be Ketotifen eye drops try this, if still condition remains as its then this need to be seen by ophthalmologist, have a nice day.
