What Causes Difficulty In Opening The Left Eye?

I have got a problem of difficulty in opening my left eye for last 1 year.I was examined by ophthalmologists and they said except for the myopia my eyes are otherwise normal. They directed me to a neurologist ,he said it can be ocular MG ,but I consulted another Neurologist for a second opinion ,she said it is voluntary blepharospasm and it is stress related.I asked about this to a Psychiatrist but she said a motor symptom can never be voluntary.whom shall i go with?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
My suggestion is that you should go for followup with the one who said you are having MG. Myasthenia gravis is a rare autoimmune disease affecting the nerve functions which helps in muscular movements. From the symptoms you said, it is most likely very early stage of the disease. It should be confirmed with receptor antibody test. So I advised you to consult the first neurologist. Hope you get treated with the condition soon.
