What Causes Difficulty In Opening The Left Eyelid In The Morning?
On some mornings, for about a few months, my left eyelid won t open voluntarily. I blink and after a couple of minutes of trying I can usually force it open or use my fingers. Subsequently, I ve become highly sensitive to sunlight. I m wearing my sunglasses all the time.. I m a healthy woman in my sixties.

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to get your eyes examined by an ophthalmologist to rule out the possibility of conjunctivitis. Rinsing it with cold water before and after bed will help.
