What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing And Palpitations While On Thyronorm?
My tsh was 7.7 so I was suggested to start thyronorm50mcg but I was ok for 3wks then I started to have palpitations,sudden difficulty in swallowing now tsh came down to 2.4so dose been decreased to 25mcg and also I started to have periods within a span of 15days.is difficulty in swallowing caused becoz of this medication?

Your problem in my opinion is drug related, when your levels are down the body is some what used to low levels and gets adjusted accordingly when suddenly the level starts getting up, the body can not coup up with the suddent surge in the hormone level and one might have some problems like weight loss, sweats, anxiety, palpitation even having problem in swallowing, usually these problems get settled down as the body gets used to the new levels of the hormone and a person starts feeling normal.
I would suggest you not to panic let the body get used to new hormone levels and then see how things settle down for you.
