General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Your symptoms suggest. Allergic tonsillitis. You would need to find out the allergens causing the problem.
Avoid contact with the allergen. Take anti-inflammatory & anti-allergy drug over the counter for relief for present symptoms.
Do hot saline gargles, avoid cold, oily spicy and sour eatables. Drink plenty of warm water. Consult an allergy specialist for long term prevention.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
