Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a Schatzki ring which has made swallowing food difficult my whole life. I ve been treated twice for it, and both times I was supposed to take Prilosec daily but I would lapse and it would come back. Should I get surgery a third and hopefully final time, and would taking Prilosec prevent the ring from forming again?
