As per your query you have difficulty in swallowing. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons , but in your case it is due to throat infection that is caused by either bacteria or virus and leading to Acute Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis. For throat infection you can be advised to take antibiotics like Augmentin or Levofloxacin, Painkillers like Aleve or Advil, do warm saline gargles and chew Vitamin C pellet. Consult ENT specialist if symptoms persists. For now avoid eating spicy and eavy meal specially at night , take light walk after every meal and tale antacid after every meal .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
