What Causes Difficulty In Taking Deep Breath With History Of Asthma?
I have history of asthma but today I have a feeling od suffocation; It does not feel like asthma. I feel like I need to take a deep breath but I can t. When I do purse lip breathing I might be able to get one deep breath that feels like it reaches my lungs then immediately goes back to the feeling suffocation
Difficulty to breathe in is very likely related to anxiety. Asthma generally causes difficulty to breath out or both (in and out) when it is severe. In your case, because you already have a history of asthma, it is important to see a doctor and rule asthma as a cause of your shortness of breath.
I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
