What Causes Difficulty In Urinating While Suffering From An Enlarged Prostate?

I am having severe urination problems. I have had enlarged prostate symptoms for 4 or five years with urgency and weak stream. Recently The problems have turned much worse sometimes only urinating a few drops. I have significant burning while urinating. I live 50 miles out of town. I have been battling a chest cold for about three weeks trying get over it without seeing a doctor, maybe unrelated. Do you have any suggestions for me.

It seems your BPH has worsened over time and prostate is large now burning might have been caused by infection which is usually frequent in people with BPH i would suggest you not to panic, visit your urologist these days , treating prostate hypertrophy even surgically is very easy and safe they do it without any cuts and incisions through TURP technique which is usually safe and effective.
