What Causes Difficulty In Urination Post Laminectomy?
I had a laminectomy on L4-L5 on 7/27/15 so approx 5 days ago. Since then I ve had an issue with urinating. I spend 5-10 minutes in the restroom each time when I feel like my bladder is full but it takes me that long to get it emptied. There is no pain with urination, I just use it a little bit then stop and have to wait to start back up again. Is this normal?

In such interventions it is normal to have problems with voiding. You should wait for some while that the bladder takes the proper function. No worries it will pass soon.
