What Causes Difficulty In Walking After Injecting Cortisone Into Hip?

Hello my name Is Barbara and live in NZ I had a Ultra sound guided cortisone injection into my left hip and with in 3 months I could not walk it was like walking on broken glass - I did not have a hip problem I had Osteitis Pubis, Is there record of the damage this injection can cause. I was never advise it could cause bone damage. your advise would be much appreciated. I was advised by a Radiologist about 18 months ago this can happen but he is no longer in NZ. I had to have a hip replacement and now have one leg shorten than other and clunking pelvis on walking

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this was the preexisting condition of hip disease then the symptoms may be due to this and may not be due to injection, but of course such invasive procedure of injection could cause the trauma, hope this information helps.
