What Causes Difficulty In Yawning?

Hello,
I can't yawn. For some reason, I just can't finish my yawn! I always start to feel the impulse of yawning, but it doesn't finish; it doesn't "go over the hill", leaving me extremely dissatisfied. And it's so frustrating as well. Can you tell me why this is happening, and how to fix this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,Welcome to the HCM,
Brief ..Get checked by a neurologist
Detailed answer..Since yawning is a reflex in response to decreased oxygen in tissues of body. For evaluating the reason for less response to low oxygen you may get consulted by a neurologist and discuss further.
Other things you can do at home is yoga and exercise early in the morning to get less urge to yawn.
Hopefully my answer will be helpfull for you.
