What Causes Difficulty To Focus In Right Eye And Along With Double Vision?

6 weeks ago I started having double vision and sensitivity to light. One year ago I noticed when I looked down at a golf ball I had difficulty focusing on it with my right eye. Now my right eye lid is drooping and my eye movement is restrictied and strained. I saw 3 opthamologists in the last month with no clear answer. The last dr. had a prism put in my glasses which did not help--it seems to make it worse. I m thinking I should see a neurologist. Thank you, Mike

I warmly Welcome you!

Thanks for consulting me at virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

They must have seen the eye movements and the optic nerve behind the eye. So no need to go to neurologist though.

Are you diabetic? What's your blood sugar status?
Any disease other than eye problems? Any treatment you taking now a days? Medications?

Consult with Ophthalmologist once again. Change again. I am sure the new ophthalmologist will help you better.

It usually happens when you have lens issues, or some muscle or nerve weakness. If ophthalmologist doesn't work this time too(less likely) take a 2nd opinion from a Neurologist.

If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile. You can also attach Lab reports and pictures with direct question.

May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback and five star rating, to help me assist you in a better way. Click at 'I Find This Answer Helpful too'. Please, write a review about your experience with me.
