What Causes Dim Vision In Left Eye During Night?

Iam A 40 YR OLD FEMALE. IHAVE NOTICED THAT whenever iwake up at night and put on the light ,my left eye vision is dim and dullish as if on low contrast and brightness as compared to the right.is it something serious?idon't wear specs and had a healthy vision till now. daytime vision is fine.no such aberration.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having dim vision in left eye during night. The common cause for poor vision in night only in one eye are early cataracts involving the periphery of the lens and high refractive error.
Since you are having difficulty in contrast in low brightness, it seems like early cataract.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
