My eye doctor told me last year that the daily discharge in one eye that I experience is from allergies. I ve never had any kind of allergies before and I am 55 yrs. old but was not told what type of allergy. I have experienced the same condition since last December and it is daily. So, what has happened that I have something no matter the time of year? I know there are different types of allergies but I haven t found any answers to my questions or relief of symptoms. I have a thick, sometimes runny, sometimes sticky, yellow/white discharge from both corners of one eye. It sometimes is stringy. No itching or swelling.
