What Causes Discharge From Eyes Causing Blurred Vision?

I have had eye discharge for the past month and have been on three different antibiotics. I wake up in the morning with crusty eyes and in the evening they start to goop up and discharge. It effects my vision making it blurry when it gets goopy. It s very annoying and particularly in the evenings, it feels like something is in my eye which causes the discharge. I am very frustrated because I have been to three different doctors one of which is an eye doctor.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the crusty eyes with discharge can be part of various clinical issues as:
- Recurrent allergic or viral conjuctivitis
- Pollen sensitivity
- Occupational exposure
- Auto immune disorders
- Alterations in passage of acqueous or lacrimal flow
- Others

Kindly share any reports or examination findings in the doc notes particularly that of an Ophthalmologist to discuss further guidelines.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
