What Causes Discoloration And Swelling On The Foot Post An Ankle Sprain?

I sprained my ankle about 4 days ago & I went to the hospital, they said it was severely sprained. I ve elevated it and swelling has gone down but now there is yellowish, blue, & green coloring on the top of my foot and where the swelling is on the side. What does this indicate ?
