What Causes Discoloration Of Legs Below The Knees Along With Severe Body Pains?

Had drinks over the weekend and the next day woke up with pain all over the body and with a hangover. I tested all day but later that night while showering I saw that the bottom portion of both my legs below the knee was darker than the rest of my leg and they hurt. Now it s on day later my legs don t hurt but feel funny and they are still the same color.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
I really appreciate your concern,
Alcohol is most likely to cause vit b12 defeciency,
symptoms that you are having are likely to be related to benign causes like electrolyte imbalance, vitamin D and B 12 deficiency, etc. Most of the times the discoloration of extremeties can occur, this can be taken care of by taking electrolyte rich fluids and vit D & Methylcobalamin supplements. To have better relief, drugs like gabapentin are helpful. But these are prescription medicines and are best if taken under the guidance of your neurologist.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks. regards.
