Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What would have caused discoloration on my lower legs - just above the ankle? It looks like a skin rash but doesn t appear to be on the top of the skin, but under it. I believe these first showed up about 30 years ago when I first took a trans-Atlantic flight.
i had very less clinical inform from your question. still I guess you are suffering from varicose veins and lipodermatoscelrosis which is discoloration of skin due to it. varicose veins are common Conditions and since you are having these discoloration from 30 years so it doesn't affect your daily activities much however clinical examination is must in your case show to a general surgeon or dermatologist if possible get well soon
