What Causes Discoloration On The Penis?
Hi doctor :) i have discoloration on my penis skin since six months ago. Maybe cause by rubbing or massage. The skin half dark and half bright. And under penis has dark line to scrotum. I,m already see dermatologist to treat because infection. Doctor say it cau by alergic. Yes, the red spot loss after use ointment.but the color still dark and never change after 1 month tratment. I,m worry if it a cancer because my skin dry. But doctor say it is only alergic. But i,m really want get my bright color back. The half dark (black) make me discomfort and feel dry. Can you help me? Suggest some treatment that can improve my penis color and moisturize the skin.

Discoloration of the penis commonly occurs due to bruise or injury due to the zipper. You can apply Thrombophob gel (combination of heparin & benzyl nicotinate) ointment in the area affected.
It reduces any blood clots causing discolorations or darkening of the skin.
Such symptoms can also be indicative of STD. If you are sexually active & are having multiple partners you should visit ER, get physically examined & get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. You may need antibiotics/ antivirals.
Cancers of the penis are rare but it presents with skin discoloration, thickening of the penile skin, the penis goes sore. Penile cancer usually doesn't hurt but may at a later stage.
Get examined & evaluated at the earliest. Early detection & diagnosis is important to start the treatment.
