What Causes Discoloration On The Shin?
Hello. I have in both legs dark color around the shin in the front of the leg. It has increased over the years in coverage. It was looked at a few years ago and I was told that I have a leaking valve in an artery and what I see is just dry blood in small amounts pooling under the skin. Can this be reversed? Thank you.

Your case appears to be due to venous stasis.Valve failure in veins may end up with varicose veins. Keep your leg raised in sleeping position.
