What Causes Discolored Urine After Hard Physical Activity?

On the days that I am .working a certain department and must lift items that weigh 40 to 50 lbs. I have noticed a change in the color of my urine at the end of my shift. This has resolved in less than 24 hrs. This has occurred 4x in the last month. No pain, urgency or burning. What Up?

Hi,

The discolouration of the urine after a heavy work is normal. During heavy work, there is more and more loss of water in the form of sweat and the urine becomes concentrated and looks like yellowish black.

For your satisfaction, you need to get a liver function test done. Though it seems normal to rule out any further complication this test becomes necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
