What Causes Discolouration Along With Patchy Skin Around Thumb?
Hi I have got some allergy on my palm especially the area around thumb. The skin of this area has become thick and patchy and somewhat brown in colour looks like dead skin. Whenever it gets dry because of exposure to soap, I feel immense itching and end up in cuts on my hand. My doctor suggested one lotion for that but I am not recovering completely. Can you tell me something about the type of allergy and its remedy?

It appears to be more of a contact dermatitis due to allergic reaction to soap
keep the area clean and dry
u also can apply calendula or caladryl and over the counter Anti histamincs
