What Causes Discolouration Of Feet And Toes While Suffering From Diabetes?

my husband has diabetes ... his toes and feet are turning black...I told him he needs to go to the doctor and he won t go....I told him I would call 911 but he will refuse to go.....what happens when black feet are not treated.I m sorry....I need the answer, but I have no money....thank you for your time

Thank you for following up. I understand your concern. He has diabetes feet and he has risk of gangrenous infection. You should immediately hospitalize him to surgical department. He needs:
- in improvement of microcirculation-Pentoxifylline(Trental) 1 tablet 2 times for 2 weeks;
-antibiotic therapy: Aminoglycosides (Amikacin);
-consulting of surgeon;
-control of blood sugar.
