What Causes Discoloured Tooth With Bad Odour And Pain?

I have a tooth that has a grayish tone that smells and was painful , I took antibiotics the pain went away this was a few months ago, but I notice today inside my mouth the soft plates it is a brownish color dark brownish color I never saw that before now I am scared don't know what it might be

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of discoloured tooth with bad odour and pain which seems to be due to presence and persistence of infection and discoloration is due to devitalization of tooth. You should visit dentist as soon as possible. Doctor will properly examine the tooth and treat it accordingly. Doctor will take an periapical X-ray of tooth. Doctor may perform root canal if infection is there and give a crown. You should rinse mouth with with warm saline water and take painkiller.
