What Causes Discomfort And Clear Raised Bumps On Throat Post Oral Surgery?

I had oral surgery a week ago and I am on amoxicillin (500 MG every eight hours) Since beginning the medicine I have general pain in my mouth, my throat feels funny and I have a lot of clear raised bumps on the back of my tongue. is this an allergic reaction?

As per your complain general pain in mouth and discomfort on throat along with clear bumps over the back of tongue..
All these symptoms can be due to allergic reaction to antibiotic amoxicillin leading to inflammation inside mouth and clear bumps can be swollen tongue papillae that contains taste buds..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and rule out the exact cause of problem and treat you accordingly..
He can advise you to take another antibiotics while can advise supportive treatment like gargling with numbing mouthwash, warm saline gargles and sucking ice..
Take Multivitamin supplements..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
