What Causes Discomfort And Small Bruise On Left Side Below The Chest Area?

I have been having discomfort on my left side right below my bra line. I noticed about a week ago a small bruise about an inch long and close to the bruise two soft bumps. Today I ran my hand over that area and it seems like I have developed a few more bumps. That area is not painful, but I do have discomfort. I saw my Dr yesterday and he was not concerned. But I am.

Hello,

The narrated bruise with discomfort may be part of abrasions through strapping of bra lower portion most likely. As there is no burning of stinging which is usually present in case of Herpes, I do not agree with strong possibility of the cause of concern. However, if you have no objection and can provide a high resolution photo image of the bruise area during the follow up session, it would be of better clinical perspective to discuss in details. Till that time, local application of Calamine lotion will help to some extent for the soothing purpose.
