What Causes Discomfort In Abdomen While On Medication For Bladder Infection?

Im a 25 year old female. I went to the doctor 2 days ago because I thought I had symptoms of a UTI, they put me on antibiotics for a bladder infection. I have also been experiencing discomfort on the right side of my abdomen mainly centered under my right rib. I feel the discomfort there throughout the day and im more comfortable in certain sleep positions because of this. Is this related to my bladder infection or is it a symptom of something else?
