What Causes Discomfort In Abdominal Area With On And Off Urine Incontinence?
I am a 65 year old female. I am having discomfort in my abdomen/pelvic area (some days worse than others). I have urinary stress incontinence and some days I have no problem holding my urine but some days I can t hold my urine at all. Often I feel the need to urinate but, when I do, I only urinate a small amount and then I feel almost like I have a UTI where I feel spasms and chills throughout my body. I had a bladder sling inserted about 15 years ago.
Hi there, Going by the history of your symptoms, seems like it's urinary tract infection. Get urine routine and microscopy test done and consult physician with the reports. If it's confirmed to be UTI, it can be treated with oral antibiotics. Antispasmodic medications might be prescribed for pain relief. Hope this answers your query. Have a nice day ahead. Thank you.
