What Causes Discomfort In Breasts After Treating Breast Cancer Twice?

my mother had breast cancer twice. my mammo showed calcification a few years ago. but than the following year, all was good. again this happened. at first my surgeon said lets wait and take another mammo in four months. now the radiologist that works for my surgeon called me and said i need a bx now. if it turns out cancer, how bad can it possilbly if they are all in agreement that it is several clusters of tiny micro calcifications. also lately i am feeling a little discomfit in that area of the breast. not pain per se. thank you for your time. Hi,

As long as the cancer is limited to the breasts, you do not need to worry. If it extends to the lymph nodes and bone, then this is a dangerous stage.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
