What Causes Discomfort In Chest Area Of A Person With Anxiety?
Hi, recently I have been getting the sensation that my heart is being squeezed. I have had anxiety and palpitations for years and this is definitely not the same. I am slightly worried because there is history of heart disease in my immediate family. I am a 43 year old female.

It seems that this problem might be due to anxiety as this type of cardioneurosis is common among anxiety persons.
But as you are 43 years and symptoms look like are not same, go for EKG to rule out any cardiac ailment.
