Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Should I go see my doctor if I have been having some discomfort in my chest? I wouldn t really call it pain. It seems to come and go and besides the discomfort, I feel fine....not tired or nauseous. It started yesterday and I felt it a little bit today.
Hi, Kindly immediately consult a cardiologist regarding discomfort in the chest that comes and goes off. It could be anginal pain hence an ECG is required to rule out any cardiac problems. If the ECG is abnormal further cardiac tests shall be done. If it is normal and even the clinical examination turns out to be normal then may be your discomfort may be due to gastric problems , which it is treated by proton pump inhibitors.
Thanks
