having discomfort in left knee radiating to inside outer of left leg..have tried elevating ..cold compresses..prescription topical creme..some swelling on knee on top continuing on outer leg..left leg pulls and you can feel a pull snapping feeling upon bending of knee

it is neurological pain radiating down ward can be torn ligament orhair line fracture. take kneecap and apply tab combiflam twice daily apply analgesic ointment externally. give rest to joint. can take x-ray and consult orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination and diagnosis.
