Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sligt tearing sensation middle of abdomen. Worried about aortic aneurysm. No pulsating mass though. When I blow my nose I feel a slight pain above my belly button and I feel tired. I check my pressure and pulse at time of initial pain. Pulse was lower than normal and pressure was slightly elevated.
By your history and description, a possibility of an aortic aneurysm is very very less. This kind of pain is either muscular or due to intestinal spasm.
So get done ultrasound examination of the abdomen to rule out intestinal pathologies. If ultrasound is normal then no need to worry much.
This might be a simple muscular pain. So apply warm water pad on affected areas of the abdomen. Take simple painkiller like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar,
Pulmonologist
